Parallel Group is a trusted provider of print technology solutions, specialising in the installation, support, and servicing of office equipment and document solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Trainee Installation Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop hands-on technical skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Duties:
- Booking in all deliveries upon arrival.
- Unpacking and organizing new equipment.
- Building and programming new machines in our workshop.
- Installation & Delivery:
- Delivering and installing a range of office machines at client sites.
- Providing green button training to end users, ensuring they can confidently operate the equipment.
- Managing asset movements
- Occasionally assisting with supplies deliveries to client sites.
- Stock & Logistics Support:
- Helping with the ordering, picking, and packing of toners, consumables, and spare parts from Parallel stock.
- Issue Reporting & Communication:
- Reporting any installation challenges to the Parallel team.
- Escalating build issues to manufacturing partners as needed.
